I am getting the following when I try to download the exe or zip file. I recently uninstalled ACT due to some trigger issues that I could not resolve, and was hoping that a clean install would do the trick.
Sorry for not being more clear. McAffee is flagging both the exe and zip file when attempting to download. The image is what is displayed notifying me of the virus detection by the AV. If I am reading the second comment correctly, since I am using McAffee I am on my own? Thanks in advance
I can't tell you why 5/71 of these AV companies are incompetent. Two of them rely on AI for their nonsense and they likely couldn't tell you why, if you asked.
Thank you EQAditu. I was able to bypass the error downloading a previous version, then updating to the latest. Now to get things working again heh. I'll check the forums for anyone else having the issue I am seeing after the install
That's funny since the update package usually gets flagged more than the setup. I can only assume because the update can detect ACT processes and kill them if necessary before updating. AVs seem to hate process functions but it's necessary for smooth operation.
