I guess EQ2Flames died?  Anyways, it's not like I could not host my own forums... it's just hard to abandon old data.

That said, if you're looking for something from those forums...  try The Way Back Machine @ Internet Archive.

I suggest that you only try it if you know what you're looking for... as there's probably no easy method of searching.

    A note about Google SSO integration...  If you sign-in with Google, the only information that is given to the forum is your email address and user name.  No other data is stored or visible, despite your real name appearing after selecting your account and before selecting your user name.

    A note about forum layout...  The Discussions view is the default view and shows all visible forum posts from any category.  The Categories view is like the old system where it is split into two sub-forums.  If you start a new "discussion" from the default view, you select a category.  If you start a new "discussion" from inside a category, that one is selected.

    There is a tags system where you can add tags to your "discussion".  Like "EQ2" or "FFXIV", "Bug" or "Help".  Adding these tags will help others find posts relating to their own queries.

    It seems that updating the forum software has broken the Google SSO logins.  For the time being, or maybe permanently, it is disabled.

    If you had a Google+ account login, use your user name to login with a random password and the system should prompt you to reset the blank password.  Or just skip to the Password Reset page.
