Failure: Unable to access network data. (ExitLag VPN?)

Hello, I just installed the program I added my plugins etc, but when testing the connection I received this message, I'm using a VPN called exitlag due to high ping.

    A previous release of the plugin will not work after a game patch.  Any time the game EXE changes, the plugin will break to some degree.

    Until something working has been released, it's hard to comment about how VPNs will work or should work.
