'Inactive: Awaiting Encounter Data...'

Hey! So I got everything set up and have a DPS tracker for FF14 on my screen but no matter what I do, it remains on 'Inactive: Awaiting Encounter Data...' I did the connection test and that is fine, so just wondering what else I need to do to get it running

    Due to SquareEnix changes you must start ACT before selecting your character when using normal network capture.

    If you want to avoid the plugin being responsible for network capture directly, use the injection mode in the plugin settings page.  It will allow you to start ACT whenever. Don't use it if you run BitDefender... you'll be in for a bad time.
