FFXIV plugin fails to initialise during the first run configuration

As in the title. Attached is the error message I am getting. What can be done to fix this?

    The FFXIV Discord has this pin mention it:

    Microsoft's website suggests that this file would be included in the .NET Framework 4.6.1 and later:

    It later states:
    The versions listed here represent the rules that NuGet uses to determine whether a given .NET Standard library is applicable. While NuGet considers .NET Framework 4.6.1 as supporting .NET Standard 1.5 through 2.0, there are several issues with consuming .NET Standard libraries that were built for those versions from .NET Framework 4.6.1 projects. For .NET Framework projects that need to use such libraries, we recommend that you upgrade the project to target .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher.
    Maybe this is why Ravahn mentioned .NET Framework 4.7.2... or maybe it'll work fine with 4.6.1.

    Microsoft claims that Windows 8.1 supports the .NET Framework up to 4.8, but not 4.8.1 which requires Windows 10.

    I have installed Net Framework 4.8 and everything seems to be running correctly now. Thank you!
