Since the update, ACT sound only goes to the Windows default sound device, no matter which output I choose in the ACT Sound Settings SlimDX XAudio2 options.
If you're using the test button in the plugin, make sure that you are using "Classic Windows SAPI (intermediary WAVs)" as the TTS engine. The other one tells Windows to perform TTS however it wants, which is usually the default sound device.
The plugin doesn't come with any sound files and does not assume any on the system... so it just plays TTS. This worked fine until ACT gave support for native TTS output.
