Suggestion: Triggers - Collapse all

Please could a Collapse All button be added to the Customer Triggers tab?

It's very cumbersome trying to scroll down find the zone you want when you have dozens of zones and each has many triggers and they're all expanded by default.

Many thanks in advance

  • I might as well ask since you seem to be someone it affects...  The Custom Triggers(& Spell Timers) treeviews are supposed to remember their expansions between sessions.  Is this at least working properly for you?
  • Yes it looks like it does. How they all got expanded though is beyond me. I do remember you made a change a while back and suddenly they weren't all expanded which was great. I just wish there was one click control in case it happens again because it's pretty tedious having to go through and collapse them all.
  • Random Windows tip, but pressing ◀️, 🔽 repeatedly works for most treeviews.
  • I know, but there are hundreds to do. Is it not possible to make an expand/collapse all button like other apps have?

    Or I can make my own if I know where in the XML it is but I couldn't see anywhere that shows the collapsed state of the tree.

    Since it takes time to consider, implement and release something... I was just offering quicker alternatives.

    The config will have something like this:
    <String Name="expandedCustomTriggerCategories" Value="101010101010101010101010101010101010101010" />
    It won't care about extra or missing placeholders.  Deleting the line entirely will default to everything collapsed.
  • That's great, thank you very much! I totally appreciate that if I'm the only one reporting the problem it's not worth your time, and this solution I can put into a one key combo macro to fix so that's fine for me.
