"Version check failed, unable to obtain version info from web, unable to connect to the remoteserver
been trying to get act working on my new pc but this message keeps popping up everytime i start it up, along with this, it isnt recognizing ffxiv and the parsing plugin isnt working which is probably related to the the message.

These forums are on the same server as the version checking. Which means a firewall on your computer is blocking ACT directly.
